    Meet Megan

While she was earning a bachelor’s degree in social work from Eastern Michigan, Megan Kent noticed something strange: Every curriculum covered unserved children, substance abuse, domestic violence and mental health, but not a single class focused on the senior population. That realization is what made Megan decide she wanted better for our country’s seniors, especially for those with cognitive impairments.

Ever since then, working with the dementia population has been her passion. Megan has been a part of the StoryPoint Group family for five years, holding positions in Life Enrichment, Wellness, and now Aging and Dementia Services.

Megan is married to her high school sweetheart, and the pair have a beautiful boy. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with family and go on adventures — particularly the spontaneous kind!

“I’ve always tried to be the type of person that people can rely on when things get tough.”
