At StoryPoint Farmington Hills

My in-laws have been at StoryPoint for a couple of months and we are so happy with their decision to move. My MIL has Alzheimer's and her day to day care has become too challenging for my 87 year old FIL. The leadership at StoryPoint Farmington Hills has been stellar. They have guided us thru this most difficult transition with kindness and caring. They've been so attentive to our family's needs and concerns along the way. We are so happy with our decision.

Making the decision to move to an assisted living home is not easy but we had to make ours during a period of high stress after many health set backs and several challenges nursing home stays. The team at StoryPoint Farmington Hills finally brought some stability and support to our family. We considered several other places but I trusted their years of experience working in assisted living. The staff at StoryPoint do what they say they are going to do to. Communication is easy and the team really tries to make the environment feel like a home. We use all of their recommended partners for home health care, medical and pharmacy. Keeps everything simple. The environment is decorated beautifully, it’s always clean, and the staff levels are consistent. Last and perhaps most important-the food is excellent. Their chef is awesome. They run a tight ship combining professionalism and personal care. Thank you everyone at StoryPoint.

StoryPoint Farmington Hills is a much happier place. It's very colorful and very cheerful looking. There are a lot of things to do there. They have a movie theater, a bar where they do Margarita Mondays or Wine Wednesdays, a library, a crafts room, and lectures. They also have a nurses' station on each floor.The one-bedroom apartment was very spacious and decorated beautifully. It's done nicely in grays and whites. They have a full-size refrigerator and a washer and dryer. The dining room is also very happy looking with bright oranges and yellows. I met a couple of people and they were lovely and very nice, too.

My mother has moved into StoryPoint Farmington Hills. We looked at several places and we liked the location, the layout, the activities, and the services provided. The staff is very good, very attentive, pleasant, and responsive. It's been a very good experience from that perspective. It's very clean and well-maintained. It's a relatively new facility. I've had a few meals there, and I thought the food was good. There's a nice variety and they publish the menu. They have a very nice dining room. The residents are very nice as well as the people that work there. They have an App that can go on your smartphone and you get notifications if a person that lives there goes to any event. They track all the events and you get a note, so by the end of the day, you're gonna look at your App and see five or six things they've been to, you feel pretty good about it.
