We recently toured Independence Village of Midland while helping my mother find a new home, and we were genuinely impressed. The dining room and menu stood out immediately — real variety, thoughtfully prepared food, and a restaurant-style experience rather than the standard “senior living cafeteria” feel. Just as impressive was the range of activities available to residents. It’s clear a lot of care goes into keeping people engaged, active, and connected to the community rather than just occupied. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout the visit. We came away confident this is the right place for my mom, and we’re excited for her to call it home.
