At 88 years old, Peggy Dorman from Stonegate Village laced up her sneakers, grabbed her pom-poms, and stepped back into a role she once loved — cheerleader. Thanks to the Dream Big initiative and the support of the Sandusky Cheer Team and Stonegate Village staff, Peggy fulfilled her wish by cheering on the Sandusky High School varsity team at a local game.
“I cheered all through high school. I had fun doing it,” Peggy said. “Made me feel young again!” What started as a simple wish became a full-circle moment filled with joy, movement, and memories. This is what Dream Big is all about — making lifelong passions come alive, no matter your age.
