    Meet Krista

Krista has been a registered dietitian and nutritionist for the last 24 years, and in the past five years, she has been solely focused on older adults’ nutritional needs. Krista’s experiences have led her in many directions, both in clinical and community nutrition.

Those experiences included providing nutritional support to patients in the burn and trauma unit at the University of Michigan and supporting patients on dialysis at the McLaren Dialysis Center. Krista’s experiences also include managing a team of nutation educators across 32 school districts and fighting to secure funding and improve food access during the Flint Water Crisis.

Now that she’s serving seniors across our sister communities, Krista is thankful to be able to create relationships with residents, provide them with the support they need and see how that support impacts their life.

“I believe food brings us together, connects us and builds community.”
