Clarence M., a resident at StoryPoint Portage, has always been a family man. He loves his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and has spent many years being part of each of their lives.
So when Clarence was unable to attend his granddaughter Rebekah’s wedding in October 2018, she worked with StoryPoint Portage to bring the wedding reception to her grandpa.
The entire memory care community took part in organizing the festivities. The community was fully decorated, and each resident personally greeted the bride and groom, watched and participated in the bridal dance, enjoyed cake, and toasted the newlyweds with sparkling grape juice.
Rebekah and her family were grateful to share their wedding with Clarence and will cherish the memory for years to come. StoryPoint is honored to be able to take part in making events like these special for residents and their families.
