Sightseeing Road Trip
Together, we hit the road and stopped at a few of central Ohio’s must-see attractions. Our first stop was to see the oldest stoplight in America, and a number of other fascinating collections, at Ohio’s Small Town Museum.
Lunch at Tommy’s Diner was delicious and fueled us for our next stop, the Topiary Park. We were blown away by its beauty! The weather was perfect for a rest break at Graeter’s Ice Cream. And lastly, we had a photoshoot in the Field of Corn in Dublin.
One of our residents was not able to make it at the last minute, so we took “Flat Pat” along for the ride!
Ohio History Center
Exploring our city has quickly become one of our favorite pastimes, and the Ohio History Center helped us do just that.
Through their mission of preserving and sharing stories, the Ohio History Center provides opportunities for people to connect meaningfully with Ohio’s past. They accomplish this with a variety of historic sites and museums, preservation, interactive exhibits and events, resources and research, and more.
The Ohio State Fair
We had the best day at the Ohio State Fair! The Beatles Tribute band, 1964 The Tribute had us up and dancing, and we indulged in a variety of sweet and savory treats, received beautiful henna tattoos and (of course!) stopped to see the butter cow. It was a day packed full of sights, sounds and memories that only the Ohio State Fair can bring.
The Stephen Foster Story
There’s only one museum in America that honors veterans from all branches of service, and from all eras of our nation’s proud history of military service, both peacetime and wartime.
The National Veterans Memorial and Museum is a powerful and personal experience designed to give a voice to every man and woman who answered the call for our country. We had the privilege to spend some time in this beautiful museum exploring, learning and honoring those who have selflessly served our country.
Ten Pin Alley
We had the best time at Ten Pin Alley on one of our recent outings. The competition was fierce, and the drinks were cold. The food was delicious, and the time with friends was priceless!
Ohio Theater
We had such a fun, music-filled day at the Ohio Theater! We enjoyed a morning dress rehearsal, listening to the incredible Columbus Symphony. We held our first practice as the StoryPoint Choir (though we’re still working on our official name!). We wrapped up the day with sangria and a Taste of The Symphony for those that could not join us this morning, or for those who wanted to hear even more. Thank you for having us, Ohio Theater!
