As the monumental anniversary approached, residents, families and employees alike geared up for a celebration that would truly be the bee’s knees. The roaring ‘20s-themed event, in honor of the community’s 20th anniversary, was complete with cocktails, chef-prepared hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment and more. All who attended dressed in their best flapper dresses and wise guy attire. They laughed, posing for photos in the photo booth, and together, they danced the night away like it was a real ‘20s bash.
Throughout the evening, everyone enjoyed honoring the true reason for the event — the residents who call Independence Village home and the employees who care for them like family.
