For Bayfield residents, the best part of the day was the surprise virtual rollercoaster ride through outer space.
The Farm @ Apple Acres
If you’re craving ice cream, there’s really only one place to be in Bay City, and that’s the Farm @ Apple Acres. With 92 different ice cream flavors to choose from, there’s a sweet treat to satisfy any craving.
The farm also has a small apple orchard where they sell donuts, apple cider, and caramel apples in the fall. Hand crafted gifts, reclaimed and recycled wood signs, furniture, and more are sold year-round. When Bayfield residents headed to the farm, we enjoyed a sunny day and visited with the animals.
Midland Center For The Arts
It’s a place where art, science, history, music, theater, dance, films, camps and classes all coincide — it’s the Midland Center for the Arts. This one-of-a-kind venue invites all ages to create and appreciate the arts. The venue holds internationally known art and science exhibits, professional symphony concerts, award-winning theatre, art classes and so much more.
Tummy Ache Candy Store
The Tummy Ache Candy Store is about a 13-minute drive from Bayfield, but the Tummy Ache food truck? It comes right to us!
The candy truck visited us at Bayfield, and residents grabbed some ice cream for a sweet treat on a warm day. Tummy Ache Candy Store also has slushies, candies, homemade treats, hand-shaved snow cones, and so much more to choose from.
The Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum
The Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum has become a must-see museum and is even listed as the #1 local tourist destination in the Saginaw Bay Region on Trip Advisor.
This floating museum serves as a national destination for education and preservation of America’s history, traditions and values. We’re lucky that such a well-renowned museum is so close to our community.
