- Exploring the Detroit Zoo
Lions, tigers and penguins…oh my! We had a blast at the Detroit Zoo. Many of our residents hadn’t been there in years, so it was nice to see all that had changed. We couldn’t have asked for better weather (or better company!) for our day. - Re-creating the Match Game
Game on! We had such a blast re-creating the 70s set of Match Game. Many of our team members were decked out in 70s gear and our residents loved it. Our “celebrity” panelists consisted of some of our most fun-loving staff, and our resident contestants and audience laughed throughout the whole game. - Visiting the Stage Nature Center
Residents from our memory care neighborhood headed to the Stage Nature Center to learn about Michigan animals. We even met a friendly box turtle and saw some Michigan native owls! - Enjoying a live performance
This was one of our most amazing performances our community has ever seen! We sat in awe, watching a production by the Motor City Lyric Opera: Mozart to Les Mis. Four professional opera singers brought down the house with accompaniment by a world class violinist and pianist. - Back in time to the 50s
We stepped back in time to the fabulous 50s! The milkshakes were flowing, the poodle skirts were swirling and the saddle shoes were tapping. We danced the night away and enjoyed another exciting event at our community.
