at Independence Village of Avon (Prestwick)

We toured Independence Village with my elderly father and this was the first time he left and seemed excited at the thought of living somewhere new. The location is beautiful and quiet, the facility appeared well maintained, the courtyard is gorgeous and all the amenities they include are precisely what he needs the most help with. Very appreciative of the time they took to answer questions and address concerns.

This place felt like home for my dad. He is excited to move here. The people are wonderful!

Emily Smith provided us with a tour of the facility. She was very professional and shared a wealth of information regarding their services. I had the opportunity to meet several staff members and residents. I was very impressed. Emily was very kind and took the time to answer all of my questions. It was a wonderful and assuring visit. Placing a loved one in assistive living is a huge decision. I feel confident this is the best place for my mother.

My mom had been at Independence Village for a couple months now. Her apartment is nice and the staff are attentive and friendly and offer the assistance she needs. The facility is clean and she’s well taken care of.

Helpful stuff members and Great management. Good place to live. Stuff members and management their first priority is their resident. Always there is activities and exercise to do for the resident. It's a good place to live.

Independence Village of Avon has been a special experience for our family. Romeo (Director)has been an incredible partner helping our family and supporting our needs along the journey with our mom. Her team of caregivers, from the folks supporting my mom with daily needs, to front office and administrative leaders, they have always all been exemplar.

Extemely friendly, very helpful. The staff make the time fly by. It is simply a pleasure to interact with the employees.

Not a resident yet, but I found assisted living there impressive.

I still remember the day my Mom and I toured IVA. After looking into several other choices for her, IVA was by far the ideal situation for my momma. It allows her to stay in the same apartment throughout several stages of her aging journey and offers a plethora of actitives to keep her social life as active as she prefers. No other location we searched checked all the boxes like IVF did. It was even surprisingly less expensive than some who offers less care and/or activities. That first tour of the facility and her spacious apartment was not only a relief beyond expression, but it made the decision a no-brainer. Mom has thrived at IVA in a way that we never could have imagined. While I live in Florida, IVA allows me peace of mind that we have found the best “Place for Mom.”

I came to visit my grandma and we had lunch together. The food was delicious and the staff was very kind. The overall environment was very welcoming and friendly.

I went to visit my mother in law and it was Bingo Day. I was able to join in on the fun. It was a great time and I look forward to doing it again. The residents were having so much fun and the winners get to pick out prizes.

Staff, facilities, food services, and activities are all excellent! There are always plenty of activities for the residents. The dining room, staff, and food are impeccable. They have plenty of offsite events for the residents to enjoy. They have great activities in the outdoor courtyard. They also have a nice paved path in the back to enjoy.

I visited the community to meet my friend and I was very impressed with the cleanliness and home-like environment .The staff was very friendly and kind.

Great place

The front is clean - 5 but memory care would get a 3. [name removed] the receptionist is amazing! She is always upbeat and upselling IV! She loves her community and it shows!! The staff is amazingly helpful and friendly! They love their residents and care about their days and if they are doing well!I love how [name removed] knows all the residents and all details so she can be there for them, when family can't! most importantly my dad is loved and I know he feels it and that is something I will always be grateful for!!
