I was in desperate need to find a new /better assisted living facility for my dad and Storypoint Brownsboro seems to be exactly what we were looking for. Dana and Danielle spent time getting to know my dad and introducing me to the wonderful staff. Everyone is so happy, nice and welcoming. We moved Dad in within a few days to a beautiful newly renovated apartment. He is happy, comfortable and thriving! The chef is very personable and the food is awesome! What a relief to have found the perfect new home for my dad and a wonderful support group for me.

We thought the room was a good size....not too small, not too big. The staff was always very kind and seemed to know his name quickly and made a point to know some of his preferences. There were always plenty of activities and the community spaces were nice on both first and second floors.

I was impressed with the staff, the warm, inviting environment, and the effort that they put into meeting individual needs of those they serve. If this facility actually creates such an amazing place as they have proposed, which I believe they have, then this will be a delightful place for seniors to call home.

The tour was everything I had hoped. A complete tour with several rooms to select from. Questions were answered and information provided. After visiting other facilities, we were well pleased to come back an FCC select this facility.

Lovely facility and ample amenities offered. The dining menu options were great and the cafe for all day service was a plus. The staff were all very kind and knowledgeable. I would easily move my family into this facility.

In my years at Sunrise I have never doubted the wisdom and kindness of the staff members. There has never been a problem evaluating the quality here. The first time my sister came for a visit she said, "This is not like a nursing home; it is more like a palace!" Her evaluation came from experience. That brief statement made me glad we had chosen Sunrise over other available senior organizations. There was a brief period when freedom of movement on the third floor was unusually difficult for us family members. We were treated suspiciously having to ask staff members to provide code numbers for entrance and exit merely to visit our loved ones. It was also an ongoing burden for the staff members. I remember fondly several years ago actually being trusted, and happily I am now feeling a gentle return to that attitude. It must be the result of new management. For that I am grateful.

We are happy with the nursing staff, cleanliness of the community, friendliness and dining. While they have scheduled activities, it would be nice to see more activities that involve all the residents. Also, personalized care needs should have more attention.

Sometimes hard to find someone on the floor. Room disheveled sometimes. I think staff in hurry. I would expect more attention but the charges are currently less than what we were paying before. However, overall a 5 rating.
