What an amazing place. From the time we walked in the building to the time we left, we felt like family. We wanted a place where our parents can truly enjoy their lives and not worry about the responsibilities of home that they can no longer really do. All those things that they need taken care of now are all extra expenses. Enjoying life without worries is what we want for our parents.

We looked at 7 different assisted living facilities in the area. Sunrise stood out above them all. It has been the most warm, welcoming family type atmosphere. Each staff member is super kind and helpful. Our mother enjoys the activities each day. The dining is phenomenal!

I had an outstanding experience from start to finish for my father. The building and rooms were in good shape and clean, the staff was very friendly, caring and attentive to everyone's needs. Great communication with the care team and I felt very comfortable having my father here. Highly recommend!

The overall experience and the friendliness of the staff gets a 5+. We are not sure about the value for cost as this is the first, hopefully the last, time I have experienced this. We would absolutely recommend this community to others! The caregivers love their jobs and it shows in the kindness they show to both the residents and the family. I'd go there if I ever need Memory Care. Ps. He was only in memory care, not assisted living.

I would recommend Sunrise. The staff was very caring, food was decent, kept things picked up.

Overall the facility is good and the staff are very friendly and seem to know my family member well. They aren't very communicative when it comes to care plans, updates, and medical information. The onus is on the family member to stay on top of the communication.

My mother in law was at Sunrise of Crystal Lake for respite care. Kristine and her staff were helpful getting all the paperwork in order in such a short time before she went in. Once Sue arrived, the staff and residents greeted her with warm hellos. Unfortunately do to my mother in laws Parkinsons, we needed to extend her stay a few months longer. That was not a problem at all for Sunrise. The entire medical staff did a great job keeping Sue safe and very happy, especially her CNA Anna. She was always there for Sue. So were the other CNA's, but their names, I am sorry but forgot them. They were all sweet to Sue. She even bragged about how good the food was, too. When it was time to say good-bye it was hard for Sue and the staff to part way. Tears were shed. Sue is doing well and misses her friends at Sunrise. So if you are looking for respite care or long term care for a family, you will not be dissappointed with the Sunrise of Crystal Family. Great job everyone.

We have highly recommended sunrise to several friends. The staff is excellent. The value amazing. My favorite thing is it offers independence in a safe environment. When a residents needs change the staff adjusts their care and support accordingly. It has been perfect for our family.
