Very friendly staff and caregivers! This building is also exceptionally clean from what I’ve seen. The public bathrooms and especially nice.

My mom has been a resident of Betty's Harbor, the memory care area at New Perspective in Mankato, for almost 8 months. I have been so impressed with the level of care, facilities, nursing staff - and overall staff - at NP. My mom enjoys the daily activities for residents in memory care, and especially loves when she joins the non-memory care residents for music performances and activities in the main dining room. I love that family members can join in for any of these activities, too. There are two secure outdoor spaces attached to the memory care part of the facility, which was a key consideration for moving my mom to NP. She loves being outside and I know she is safe spending time outside there. Her room is spacious and bright and she tells me she enjoys the meals and social hour snacks. Supporting and caring for a parent with memory issues is difficult at best. New Perspective has taken some of that stress and worry away, and knowing she is safe, happy and well-cared for is a wonderful thing.

Over the past few years.I have spent time visiting with a few residents, along with attending some of their open to the public events. The residents enjoy living at New Perspective and are well cared for. The facility is beautiful and well kept. My 13 year old Daughter has made some senior friends that she enjoys spending time with. Listening to their stories and sharing hers. At the family/public events the staff has done a very good job making sure that all residents get a chance to participate. I have seen memory care residents brought out as 1 on 1 to spend time on things, like enjoying a visiting petting zoo. I am now currently working with the sales team to make New Perspective Mankato my Father's new home. I definitely feel that they will be a great fit for him and he will be in caring hands.

I did A LOT of research and toured a number of facilities. We are glad we chose New Perspective Mankato. The continuity of care from independent living to assisted living to now having our mother in memory care has been exceptional! The staff is awesome and such a joy to interact with in every situation. Thanks!

All of the staff that I’ve met are not only extremely kind, but passionate. The caregivers really care and do their best to put smiles on each and every residents face. You can really tell that the management is doing an amazing job hiring and training! Their care team manager, Kaitlin. She is incredibly kind and has been so helpful with any questions. Shes always willing to listen and help out! You can tell just through a quick conversation with her that she’s all in for the residents, the passion that she has is very special.

Absolutely beautiful building, it’s kept clean and the staff is lovely. The rooms are well maintained and provide a comfortable living space. A great place to visit loved ones who are staying there, and the staff is always helpful.

Staff here is wonderful, they always seem happy and very helpful. There seems to be something going on everyday through the weekdays but things seem to go to your own resources on the weekends. There are a lot of people on the food program and seem to be happy with it. We do our own cooking in our apartment.

My brother really likes New Perspective in Mankato. Says it's good food and he has a very nice room with laundry. the rates keep going up and hard to keep general staff.... a few weeks ago I ate there with my brother and the CEO and maintenance workers were serving the food cuz of worker shortage.... but they did a good job!! But staffing is a problem everywhere in these types of places.

The management team is very receptive and quick to respond to any needs or concerns. The care team has improved significantly over the last 6 months, and there is a genuine concern for the residents safety and care throughout the staff.
