at Meadow Lane

Mom has been at Meadow Lane for almost six months and we are so happy with her here! The environment is spacious, fresh, and comfortable. No, it’s not “home”…but for us it’s so much better because a lot of worry has been eliminated. The staff are skilled, compassionate and understanding. Mom is well looked after. The meals are not only nutritious, but tasty! (Based on our experience of the meals we enjoyed with mom.) Most days at Meadow Lanr have some sort of activity in which mom participates. The activities deserve a gold star! They are well thought out, very creative with applicable decorations… over the top fun! They are also well documented with pics on social media for family that can’t be there. Yes, family members are encouraged to participate also. What I find remarkable is how many of the staff also participate in a lot of the activities. It’s so apparent that residents, families, and staff all really enjoy the camaraderie at Meadow Lane.

I work for a hospice company and come to Meadow Lanes regularly! Staff and environment are extremely welcoming, helpful, and lovely. Rooms feel like home and there is always something going on!

Meadow Lane has been/is wonderful for mom. They are so understanding, kind and helpful when people move in. There are so many activities and trips for everyone. It’s nice that they post pictures of the activities on Facebook for all of us to see our loved ones. Mom has spent her life taking care of us and dad. Now Meadow Lane is taking care of her. I can’t say enough good things about them.

Staff is very kind and responsive to any concerns. Staff provides great activities that keep the residents engaged. We (our family) is very thankful our father is a resident.

Bad Axe is very fortunate to have Meadow Lane in the area because of the services they provide for all the residents living here so their families know they are well taken care of. Plus the residents are able to make new friends a positive.

I didnt think I needed to leave home and couldn't imagine feeling at home and anywhere else. My apartment feels so much like home. The food is delicious I like walking the halls and visiting too.

I love the people I live with. We have things in common and it's nice to have someone to always talk to. Also the food is so good. Its like eating at home! Iam very comfortable at Meadow Lane.

There is so much entertainement at meadow lane. There is always something I enjoy doing here. The girls do a good job of caring for my needs too. [Name Removed] is #1! I feel safe and right at home here.

Meadow Lanes is very welcoming front he moment you walk in the door. Staff are friendly, kind, courteous and caring. The building is very pretty and clean.

My experience has been compared to other facilities my wife has lived in. The staff do a wonderful job here. I feel very comfortable when I leave that she is safe and being taken care of well.

Deciding to move mom to assisted living was me of the handset things ever to do. [name removed] was more than fantastic in helping us through the transition. Staff have also been wonderful, very caring and helpful. Its amazing the quality and amounts of activities they provided!

In [date removed] my mother was experiencing a steep decline in her cognitive state after a stable period of home care. We were torn as a family of 6 on whether we should pursue identification of a memory care home. My mother lives in a rural community so the number of options were quite limited. We visited 3 different care facilities & fortunately for us Meadow Lane was one of our options. We knew from the moment of entering the facility that this place was 'different'. The family atmosphere, cleanliness, and quality of staff all met our high expectations. However, the clear differentiator at ML are the outstanding daily activities for the residents, especially since, memory care patients are not 'locked away and forgotten', they participate with the assisted living residents. Laughter and a sense of belonging that extends from residents to staff members make this a truly unique home. THANK YOU to the ML Staff for giving us peace of mind and my mom a true HOME!

Meadow Lane is a wonderful place! Every time we visit, I’m blown away by the amazing staff, fantastic leadership, and happy residents!

The facility is newer and well kept. The staff is compassionate, helpful, and professional. The staff would be the reason I would give it a five-star rating.
