I lived here 7 years and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Im spoiled! Wonderful food, staff, cleaning people, everyone is amazing.

Most acceptable. Better than expected. All staff are friendly and helpful. Happy I ended here.

Independence Village is truly a beautiful community that stands out for both its atmosphere and its people. The grounds and living spaces are well-maintained and welcoming, creating a comfortable environment for residents. What really makes this community special, though, is the staff. They are consistently inviting, friendly, and genuinely engaged with the residents. It’s clear they take the time to build meaningful connections and ensure everyone feels valued and included.

Independence Village of Midland is a beautiful community! The staff go above and beyond to ensure the resident's have both a wonderful and unique experience the moment they walk through the doors.

It is very well run, they keep folks active. The corsocare is the weak link - they were more difficult to get established but have been ok ongoing.

I moved into Independence Village after I broke my hip. Everyone has been absolutely lovely and always willing to help me. I at first was confined to my room after my surgery, but now I'm able to move around the community and enjoy all the great amenities. The staff have encouraged me to continue regaining my strength, they have been my cheerleaders. The Executive Director even got me flowers to celebrate my progress. Those are the little things that make me feel welcomed and thankful I came here to make this my new home.

Everyone is so friendly. Lots of activities. Food is good. I feel very comfortable that my mother is in a safe place.

I can't thank the staff enough for all of the love they showed my mother. Everyone was always kind, and willing to help out with any request we had. The Executive and Welllness Director were always on top of things and great with follow-ups. We could tell that [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] have huge hearts from the day my mother moved in. To trust and know my mother was always cared for gave us great peace. The amazing activities were also something my mother looked forward to.

Carestaff is exceptional especially with the challenges they sometimes face.

I.V. is more than we could have asked for, for our mom. It just keeps getting better. EVERYONE there is always so helpful and kind and they go out of their way SO much to make sure the residents (and families) are happy and cared for. They are a second family to us. They take care of medical needs such as coordinating lab work with the mobile lab, providing physical and occupational therapy, passing out meds, or in-house doctor visits. They take care of a massive amount of fun social activities whether it's making Christmas wreaths, or listening to a concert, they've got it covered. We love how the families are included in the activities. Our mom is thriving and we couldn't be happier with the staff and the facility.

I live here with my husband. Currently I am living in the Independent Community and my husband is living in the Assisted Community. He is working on getting stronger so we can live together once again. It's been a great place and the staff are always available when you need them. The activities are outstanding. We would like a little more variety in the menu at dinner time.

I've lived in this community for over two years and I absolutely love my experience. The staff are friendly and helpful and the monthly calendar is always full of activities for me to participate in. I enjoy sitting in the Lobby talking with the staff and other residents while I wait for my mail to be delivered.

I've been a resident here for 4 years. My wife recently passed in [date removed] after a 13 year battle with Parkinson's disease. We cannot express enough appreciation for the wonderful support and friendship that was provided.

Overall very positive, staff are thoughtful, and kind. Always, lots to do for activities. I've used the shuttle to enjoy activities that were outside the community. I've enjoyed living here, I've met so many nice people that I interact with on a regular basis.

Overall, I give this community and staff an excellent review. The community is always clean and the staff are always friendly. There are always so many activities that my wife and I can participate in on a daily basis.
