Staff have been friendly and helpful, efforts are made to assign same staff to residents on a recurring basis, my Dad is in memory care there, he did not think he needed memory care (or any assistance really) and the layout and appearance do not feel like a locked space; the entire top floor is memory care and codes are entered on the elevator versus having to walk through double metal doors which most of the places I toured have and which would have been off-putting to him; the apartments look like apartments versus rooms and many have really nice views; although it is close to the road his apartment seems very quiet; it is somewhat expensive but far less than what we were paying for an individual caregiver and it is reassuring to know that he is in a safe space where he can engage in socialization

Sunrise Plano Review: My mother moved into Sunrise near the end of October 2025. Almost immediately she felt right at home and absolutely loves the facility, as well as everyone she has met. I realize that this type of transition doesn't always go this smoothly, but in her case we feel extremely blessed. She currently has a small group of women that she has dinner with every night. In addition, she has had several people reach out to make it a point to welcome her to the community. In the past month Sunrise of Plano was purchased by a new management company and will soon be known as StoryPoint Plano. They haven't made any drastic changes from what we can tell at this moment, and we pray they at least keep the same level of service and family feel that they've had up until this point.
