at Independence Village of Plymouth

My first impression when I walked into this community was the love of God throughout all the people we met. The longer my daughter and I have been here the more love we have received. There are activities for every single person no matter what your likes or dislikes are, plus the music is always from a different talent which gives us an all round experience. This community feels like a big hug!

My dad received great care from staff and hospice personnel. He wasn't there very long but he was made comfortable in the final days

I recommend Independence Village of Plymouth to anyone looking for independent living in the area. IVP was the right place for the 18 months my mother lived there due to all of these: the activities, the kind and supportive staff, and the management and leadership team. Our family enjoyed hearing about the lunch trips she took for many months, the special events organized by the staff, her regular activities like bingo, and also the everyday dinner conversations with friends -- things she was missing out on when she lived alone before moving to IVP. When my mother needed assistance with anything, the staff responded with kindness and respect. When something in the apartment needed attention, like a request for a new grab bar, staff responded promptly. I was always struck by how, every time I walked down a hallway at IVP, staff members knew every resident by name. That kind of attentiveness and personal connection meant a great deal to my mother and to our family.

I recommend Plymouth Independence Village to anyone looking for independent living in the area.

Did a tour with my dad. Place seemed very nice. Nice rooms. Raina whom was the person who showed us around was very nice.

I adore living at IVP. I love the staff. I loved the giant turkey leg last night. I almost ate the whole thing. The "Royals" event was so much fun!

Everyone is helpful - great living & dining experience. Engage in games, happy hour, listen to entertainment. Great place to live. I could live.

I like it that I can go anywhere in this building. Everyone is friendly. I enjoy playing games! Especially bingo! I miss my car, but I still have transportation!

I love the people, the staff, everybody. It took me awhile to get used to it but I am very comfortable here.
