We moved our 98 year old mother to Independence Village West of Zionsville due to on-going issues at another facility. Although our mom only lived another 2 months, we could not have asked for a better place for our mom to live her final days. The friendliness of the facility was notable the first time we walked through the front door. The assisted living care team, as well as the dining room staff and administration, were professional and caring, and treated our mom with respect, dignity and love. They treated us like family. We are very grateful.

We had a wonderful tour of the memory care community at Independence Village. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely compassionate. The facility was clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, comfortable environment for residents. We appreciated learning about the personalized care, engaging activities, and the focus on maintaining each resident’s dignity and quality of life. It gave us confidence that our loved one would be well cared for in a supportive and caring community. The staff at Independence Village at Zionsville West have been so wonderful to my mother-in-law! They all know her by name and take time to ask about how she is doing and make her feel special. The director Jim Gepp is awesome! He always has his door open and makes himself available to residents and family members. He helps out in all areas too, always willing to lend a hand wherever he is needed. We have been other places where it was much less personable. We are very grateful for the kindness we have been extended!

We had to shimmy and shake pretty quickly to get my parents here, but it all happened very efficiently. We know they’re having a comfortable experience, and feel well taken care of and safe which is the most important. The activity scope and size of the facility works well for my parents and me (they are in two different locations in the building, one in independent living and one in memory care) without the “fluff” you pay considerably for at other places. We have had an overall very positive experience.

The care and follow through with their staff, both management and care providers, has been above any other ALF I’ve ever worked with. Staff was incredibly welcoming and answered questions promptly. Facility is clean, bright and comfortable. Several choices of living styles and unit sizes. My mom is trying a temporary stay this winter. She has visited multiple times and feels safe and welcome. Fingers crossed it is a good fit.

Easy to navigate, great support for residents, variety of social events, feels like home! I can only speak to my parents apartment but it's a nice size. It was updated before they moved in. Washer and dryer in the apartment is a plus. Full size kitchen, den and a balcony are all nice amenities.

Great Community. Community is updated and offers spacious space for retirement audience. Community is close to a variety of restaurants and shopping. Apartments are furnished with updated appliances and LED lighting.
