I cannot say enough good things about StoryPoint. Moving my 80-year-old aunt from the home she had known for decades was not easy. With her dementia, I spent a lot of time wondering whether we were making the right decision. She was extremely apprehensive and, just two days before moving in, called me and said, “Brian, I don’t want to move. I don’t want to leave my house.” What a difference a few weeks have made. My aunt absolutely loves StoryPoint. She now tells me, “Brian, I’m so glad you convinced me to move here.” More importantly, I can see the difference in her. When she moved in on September 9th, she weighed 107 pounds. By September 22nd, she was 122 pounds. She looks better, she’s eating, she’s happier, and I can see it in her face. I’ve visited StoryPoint probably 10–15 times since the end of July, and what has impressed me most is the people. From the leadership team to the CNAs, chefs, dining staff and everyone in between, StoryPoint has been top-notch from top to bottom. Every employee I’ve encountered has shown kindness, professionalism and a genuine concern for my aunt. When you’re trusting other people to care for someone you love, that means everything. Today, I don’t have to wonder whether we made the right decision. I can see it in my aunt’s smile, hear it when she talks about her new home, and see it in the way the people at StoryPoint treat her. I’m thankful and proud that my aunt is part of the StoryPoint community. To the entire StoryPoint team: thank you for taking care of someone who means so much to me. Five stars doesn’t seem like enough.

While having to select this facility for a loved one. We were satisfied with the care they received. The staff were very supportive and helpful in their handling of their care of the person. We had very good discussions about the care and supported in any way possible. The Administrative Staff all were excellent working through any change that occurred or situations beyond any of our control of the patient. The facility was chosen by our family because of its quality care and the professionalism of the Staff. Overall I would recommend the facility without any reservations.

Storypoint has a great memory care unit. It was great for my dad with Dementia. The staff was caring, supportive and compassionate with my dad. Sales/Admissions Director, Nurse Manager and Activities Coordinator and Executive Director were all amazing. They addressed our needs and concerns and provided excellent communication and accommodated all of our needs. Food was good and had great selections. Facility was always clear. Their interaction with staff and residents was great! I definitely will recommend this facility to others!

The onboarding had a few bumps, and we are ironing out issues related to medications. Overall, no major problems. Since StoryPoint is a relatively new owner of this facility, I think their processes are still being worked on by administrators.

What I am most happy about is that her single room has much more room than any of the single rooms at other facilities. The price is in line, if not a little less. The best way to improve on activities is more of them and publicize.
