Our club, the Iowa City Aerohawks, was asked to give a presentation about our hobby to the residents of Story Point Senior Living. The facility is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting tucked away on the eastside of Iowa City with a warm and friendly staff. Those in attendance were totally engaged and full of questions, and the experience was completely delightful. All in all, it was a fun afternoon filled with wonderful conversation. The afternoon was capped off with musical entertainment and complimentary root-beer floats. What a treat. To say I was impressed, is putting it lightly. It was an honor to be there.

Mom (89 years old in Memory Care) has called StoryPoint "home" since December 2024. She is well cared for in ways that are tailored to her needs/situation. Staff is amazing! Bottom line Mom is safe, happy, and a bit spoiled. :) Best part of all.... I don't worry.

My wife and I moved here at featherstone due to my wife's dementia. She was in memory care and was not easy to deal with. The staff did well for her care. I live in my own apartment and am well taken care of ny staff on my needs.

StoryPoint Senior Living is a wonderful community. A couple of my classmates and I had the opportunity to implement a community health nursing intervention there as part of our nursing school curriculum. We led a Thursday afternoon social hour with the goal of promoting social connection. We played games, spent time talking with residents, and enjoyed getting to know them! The community is beautiful, and the residents and staff are very welcoming. A special shoutout to Liz Achen, who was extremely helpful in supporting us and ensuring our intervention ran smoothly. It was an awesome experience, and we are very grateful for the opportunity!

It is a wonderful community with everything you would need included. Staff and caregivers are very welcoming and accommodating and take good care of my parents. They enjoy the sense of community. There is a lot of activities that residences are able to participate in.
