The staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

My mother was at Story Point for 1.5 years before she recently passed. I have no doubt that she was well loved and cared for during her time with Janna and her team. I'm grateful that my mom was at a place that truly cared for her well being and connected with her on a personal level. I had several staff members tell me how much they loved and appreciated her. It was clearly genuine and I have no doubt that my mom loved them all in return.

We moved mother to Storypoint of Oshtemo from a different facility over 3 years ago. I have not regretted that decision for a second. The caregivers are exceptionally caring and the type of person that just enjoys helping others. They all get along well and work together as a team sharing the workload. Any maintenance concerns are professionally addressed quickly. The food menu changes with the season and I have not heard any complaints from mom. The activities and outings offered are just perfect for engaging the residents to socialize. Management staff is always available and respond for any concern. I have even had a response to a minor question on a national holiday from the site director. I hope my kids can find a place this good for me when the time comes for assisted living.

I've now had clients in both Storypoint Oshtemo and Storypoint Kalamazoo and I would trust the care of my parents to them. The staff is competent and helpful. I love the fact that the Oshtemo facility is a locked community, another safe guard in place to keep residents safe. I've had a few clients that were wanderers and it is a terrifying thought that people can go missing and you're not sure where they are (most likely they wouldn't know either). I've had clients and family in many facilities as well as home care. While home care may seem like the goal, facilities are a wonder for making seniors feel included, keeping boredom at bay. Having activities and facilitated meet ups with the residents and staff keeps them active and safe.

Good Care and Food. Mom and Dad are safe here and are well taken care of.

The community meets my physical and mental needs. I'm very glad I live here and seek to be an asset to the community.

We have a relative who has been here for more than a year. She lived in two other assisted living facilities before moving here and the difference in care here is so much better than she ever received at the other places. All of the staff participate in training and they are excellent. They constantly search for ways to improve and are available to speak with family. They have more activities to engage residents, they also have outings for residents. Some of the other places said they had outings, but didn't follow thru. Our relative is much happier here and we know that she is absolutely safe.

Very nice facility. Clean, well run. Staff is caring and efficient. The layout of the facility is well thought out. The food service is commendable. A very diverse menu that has to be challenging for those who have to prepare and serve.

This community is beautiful! The residents and staff are welcoming and kind!

We moved our parents into StoryPoint Oshtemo in September. The staff are all friendly and attentive. I would recommend them to anyone. When my Mother in Law needed to be moved to memory care they were able to make that transition easy for everyone.

My mother moved into Story Point Oshtemo over 3 years ago and she and I have been very happy with the facility. They welcomed her cat and everyone seems to know Luna. The staff is very caring and constantly tries to get her engaged in the events they offer. At 97 she is a loner and a recluse, but the staff goes out of their way to encourage her to participate in the activities that they offer. I looked at a number of places prior to my mom moving here and have never regretted my decision. It is very clean, the staff pays a lot of attention to detail and makes it a wonderful environment to live in. Not a holiday goes by without major decorations. Very warm friendly place to live. Very hands on, committed senior management and staff.

I looked at between 10 and 12 facilities for my mother prior to moving her here from Florida. Story Point (Provisions at the time) offered the best of everything that I was looking for. We wanted a single-story facility to encourage her to meet people and participate in events. She was used to a very large balcony overlooking a major river and sitting there was important to her. Now she has a large patio with chairs, plants and a bird feeder which she really loves. She is very withdrawn and opinionated but has really gotten into weekly manicures and Happy Hour. The staff does a wonderful job of trying to encourage her to do things. The head of activities is great and really tries to get my mom involved. The executive director is very hands on and is always there. The care givers are all wonderful. I have never regretted the decision I made.

My father has lived at storypoint for almost two years the staff is very friendly and caring. I feel very good about my father’s experience. The staff encourages my dad and is involved in his art projects. The director and her staff are friendly and always available when we have had questions.
