I would rate StoryPoint in Romeoville a 5 !!! We brought My Daddy in [Date Removed] , with stage 3 Dementia . He has suffered from dementia for over 5yrs , He had fallen many times, always (wanting to go home). We were able to redirect him for a while. He knew there was something wrong and would ask me for Help !.His safety had become a real concern, and we new we needed more help. We had searched out different options. I had taken a tour with [Name removed] , and then my Husband & I presented this to[Name Removed] (his wife )she agreed, I told Daddy we had found a place where he could get some help, and he was willing to go .It was so hard to watch him go thru All the stages, but I want to Praise & Thank the staff @ StoryPoint for giving him Grace & Love. My Daddy finally went Home [Date removed] & All the Love that was Shown was Priceless !!! You don't know ,what you don't know until you get there. In this case, it was what they said it would be, & we're so Grateful for that !!!

For Storypoint, what stood out to me initially was the activities for residents and their range of care level options should my father need it over time beyond what he needs for now. Since my Dad moved in last month, I've seen how much he has enjoyed his remodeled apartment and the care free living with the medical staff taking care of his meds, the dining room with impressive menu options, and not worrying about cleaning or laundry. He has also taken advantage of the on site physical, occupational, and speech therapy to continue his recovery. He has also started taking advantage of their transport van to get out to some local shopping. My Dad is still the 'new kid,' but he has already made a few friends and the 24 hour care has helped de-stress life for him and for our family. I imagine there are some cheaper assisted living options in the area, with varying levels of support options, but for my Dad Storypoint was the perfect choice for his care needs now and into the future.

Storypoint is a beautiful facility. The people who work there are amazing and seem to care about their residents.

Friendly facility, great activities. Rooms are cozy and have a great view.

This facility feels like home. It has so many activities they offer as well as the friendliness and make you feel as if it is a family community.

Had no choice. They were the only facility that would take her in her condition. I would recommend Storypoint Romeoville to others. onboarding went well, the buildings are well maintained and it's a pleasant environment.

My cousin has been a resident for about 2 years. Everyone we have interacted with has been very friendly and helpful. Everyone addresses you by name and answers any and all of our questions and addresses all of our concerns.

I love everybody

Although it’s a bit pricey, I’m very happy with the experience overall. The communication is excellent—staff answer questions quickly and are very responsive. I really appreciate the thoughtful details, like the resident’s story and photo placed right inside the door so all staff can immediately get to know her. The color-coded door system is also a nice touch that helps with organization and care. It’s reassuring to know there are security cameras in the rooms for monitoring, which adds an extra layer of safety and peace of mind. Overall, the quality of care and communication make it worth the cost.

My spouse has been at StoryPoint in Romeoville since last August. We are very happy with the care that he has received. He has settled in and excepts this is where he lives now and is content. The food is delicious, I often eat meals with him. The staff is very caring and patient. We are still very happy with our choice of StoryPoint For his care. My husband has settled in very well. He now knows he stays here all the time & makes no attempts to leave. The staff is caring & kind. I have eaten lunch with him numerous times. The food is plated & served individually. He eats everything & when I join him it has always been delicious. Seconds are always available.

We loved our care partners and nurses! Everyone was very caring and helpful. We chose this facility because of the "vibe" when you walk in the door. We said it was like being on a cruise ship without the water. Room sizes are sufficient and the amenities are wonderful. Laundry & cleaning services make things easier on families. There is a parking garage for those that can still drive and choose to have their own vehicle. The only issue we had was lack of communication and follow through. Families need to stay on top of things to make sure plans are being followed.

Grandma lives here and I love it. Everyone's so nice when the staffing is all good to go!
