at White Lake

Wow....I visit communities for a living, across the country. Rarely do I review, as most of you know. BUt every now and again, I'm compelled. The superhero, beleive it or not, is the Maintenance Director Robert Noah. His shine doesnt dim any of the other bright lights at this community, but its blinding. The residents are so fortunate to have someone that cares, well beyond their role, pay grade, or responsibilty level. When even "the maintenance guy" has this level of care, you know everything will be just fine for Mom. I would be happy here, and thats the biggest compliment one can give, when choosing communities for the most important person in your entire life. Bravo Sandy, Robert and team, for doing it right.

From my first interactions with staff at White Lake Assisted Living during a tour through moving my parents into their apartment I have had nothing but a wonderful experience. Interactions with the community director, executive director, LPN, facilities director, and staff are always positive. The facility itself is very clean and inviting and comfortable. The apartment size my parents are in within the memory care unit is acceptable. Their unit is the largest available. The main living area allows for their queen size bed, 2 recliners, 2 bedside tables, an end table, tv, TV stand, floor lamp, and cupboard for storage. The closet is large enough for their clothes, a dresser, a small wire drawer unit, hamper, and shoes and bedding. The bathroom is spacious enough for a standing drying rack, storage shelves and still space for wheelchair and walker use. Both parents seem to enjoy their meals and the staff has been very responsive to learning likes and dislikes. While the move in process was rushed due to extenuating circumstances all staff were accommodating due to the compressed schedule. All questions were answered and all available programs explained. I would recommend White Lake Assisted Living to others looking for a place for their elderly loved ones.

We were looking for a community close to were we live for our dad(dad in-law) it is very nice community , our dad will be hopeful move in soon.

I have lived at White Lake for over a year. I have a lovely large apartment.. The staff is very friendly, food id good, I enjoy the activities. The community is clean and well taken care of. I love it here.

The moment I came into the community, I felt at home. The atmosphere is so homey and warm. The staff is wonderful and really cares about us. Great place to live.

Living here is interesting. The aides are wonderful. You ask and they help, from getting supplies to help bathing for the ones who need help.

I rate White Lake Assisted Living 5 stars. My husband was a resident in the Memory Unit for the last 6 months of his life and I truly cannot think there are any better care options that could have eased our really difficult situation. I would recommend their facility to everyone.

Very nice, good food. Care staff is wonderful.

Very good, friendly staff. Meals are okay. Starting to get into activities. Sometimes I miss the craft I want to do. Not fond of the dining table so I like to in our room.

Excellent care staff the people who work here and live here are great staff is compassionate. My kids don't have to worry about me because I am safe here.

Everything works. Appreciates that power will always be on to cook and clean gives thanks to not have to worry about these little things anymore. I like it here, took me awhile to get used to my electric stove.

Pleasant livable until I couldn't get around like I used to but I will return to now I got around.
