We cannot say enough wonderful things about Boulder Creek Assisted Living! My mom has been there since May, and she is truly thriving. When she arrived, she could barely walk. Today, she is walking with a walker, and we believe so much of her progress is because of the encouragement, patience, and care she receives from the amazing staff. My mom receives the highest level of care, including help with showering, dressing, and daily needs. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. They take time to talk with her and never make her feel like a burden. She absolutely loves them! The activities keep her so busy that we sometimes have to check the time before calling her! She also loves the meals, and the staff always asks if she needs anything different. We visit often, and everyone is always so kind to our family. My mom has lived in assisted living before, and there is truly no comparison. Knowing she is safe, cared for, encouraged, and HAPPY means everything to us.

After my father fell and was no longer able to physically care for himself, I was left with the hard decision to find a place for him to get the care that he needs since I was unable to care for him myself. There was a lot of guilt involved with that decision, but my spouse and I work full-time and my siblings live in other states. I needed help and fast. After walking in to Boulder Creek Assisted Living Center I immediately felt at home. The public area spaces are inviting and cozy, and the staff are very warm and welcoming. It's clean, bright and decorated for every season/holiday. The staff are helpful, cheerful and strive to provide respectful, compassionate care for their residents. The Directors answered all of my questions which made me and my father feel at ease. There is always something to do and he made friends quickly. He really enjoyed his time there and we all got very close with the staff. I would highly recommend this team and facility for your elder care needs.

I’m a magician that’s performed at hundreds of senior living communities across the country and I’ve seen the gamut of high end/low income/happy/sad/etc… Boulder Creek is special. Everyone that attended the show was thrilled to be there. Folks were playing dominoes AFTER the show at ~8p… it’s rare to see some much delight, joy, and active participation at senior living community. If you’re looking for a place to call home and a community that actually cares about their residents that’s an actual community of people just doing and enjoying life together, then I couldn’t recommend this place enough. I can’t imagine how difficult is it to find a place I’d trust for my parents to live, but if I had to I’d I’m feel peace about my parents living here and I’d feel confident that they’d be genuinely happy.

Love Boulder Creek Assisted Living! We had our first tour of this great facility when we were initially looking for a place for mom. She wasn't quite ready and was still safe in our home. When the time came to get serious about Assisted Living, Boulder was the first place we revisited. The staff was wonderful throughout the process, and now that mom has been there 18 months we (her family) know it was the right decision. The building is lovely and the courtyards are beautiful year-round. The rooms are nicely appointed and roomy (compared to other places we visited). But above all that - it's like living in your favorite neighborhood! The staff are wonderful and help create a social setting where new friends meet and interact, which is so important especially when so many of our seniors have been lonesome & inactive at home. There are activities every day to keep residents as busy or quiet as they prefer. Mom and her family love this place!

Boulder creek has been such a gift to my mom and our whole family. The staff are loving and attentive and the facility is beautiful, warm and cozy. We are forever grateful to all Boulder creek staff for making this tough time easier. We all feel supported by staff during this challenging time of life for my mom.

Boulder Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care was instrumental in helping my family provide the best "final chapter" to my Dad's earthly story. Their humble admittance that they are not perfect was appreciated, but what we experienced was an entire team that strived every single minute to provide the best care possible! We are forever grateful!

My Mom stayed at Boulder Creek Assisting Living. Staff was so kind and thoughtful. Always stopping by her room to say Hi, and inviting her to whatever activity was going on in case she forgot. For meals, from the first day, they intentionally set her seat at a table where she had something in common with the others, and she made friends! The food was delicious! She always told us what she had for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and how good it was! There was a lot of fun things going on too, like someone playing a guitar or the piano in the lobby, and singalongs to songs of their times. Arts and crafts, exercise class, and fun things to do related to the upcoming holidays. Staff was attentive, and there was never one of them that we disliked! All were kind and it actually felt like they were her friends. When she saw them in the hallways, she knew their names. Highly recommend Boulder Creek Assisted Living!

Unfortunately my dad was only there 11 days, never left the room, ate a meal or did any activities. We had no idea he would fail so fast. However, during that short time, the admin and care staff were all excellent. The room was the exact layout we wanted, and everything was beautiful and clean. The signing of paperwork and move-in were incredibly fast. This ended up being so important as my dad needed the higher level of care much sooner than we had expected. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

My mom joined the Boulder Creek family last November and is very much enjoying being there. She is cared for by people who really want to do their best for the people they take care of. She has access to many activities and loves the food. All of her needs are being met there and then some. If you are lucky enough to have a loved one join them, you will not regret it.

I work for Emmanuel Hospice and we provide services at Boulder Creek. I have recommended this community to people who ask me where are good assisted living communities.The staff are attentive, caring, and easy to work with. Jill and Holly help keep everything flowing well and are on top of the details. The community is beautiful and clean. You will love having your family member here!

My Mom (95) has lived at Boulder Creek for almost 4 years. She will tell you she has loved it since the day she moved in! From getting her nails & hair done in.house to playing balloon volleyball as well as all of the holiday celebrations, Boulder Creek's staff does not disappoint. The food is good and hot and they are always switching up the menu. Mom's laundry has never gotten lost and all of the staff is really more like a family.

I visited Boulder Creek for educational training and was very impressed. The community is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Residents were actively engaged in meaningful activities and clearly well cared for. It was a pleasure learning from such a knowledgeable and dedicated team.

I moved my Dad from a [community removed] to Boulder Creek Memory Care in Rockford in [date removed]. This has been a great move for Dad and me both. The life enrichment program is top notch with lots of activities for residents. [name removed] does a wonderful job and Dad responds well to her. Dad loves the food at Boulder Creek. I have had lunch with him there and thought the food was great. Dad is a fan of soups and it is on the menu every day. My only complaint is the lack of a front door staff person on the weekends. I have rung the bell over and over on weekends and waited up to 15 minutes to be let inside the building. I may ask to go through the necessary background checks so that I can let myself in the building on the weekends.

My father has been residing at Boulder Creek for the past year after experiencing some health challenges. It was a difficult adjustment moving from his home of 50 years to a new place. This said, Boulder Creek has been the perfect place for my dad providing a safe environment for him free of stairs and obstacles that were risks in his former home. Additionally, the Care Team provide very good care to my dad in a compassionate, respectful and patient manner. There is a good mix of male and female residents as well which is nice along with several veterans. The facilities and common areas are clean and well decorated. And there are plenty of activities for residents to take advantage of. It took my father some time to partake in the activities but he seems to be engaging more and more. The social connection via the daily meals in the dining room has been wonderful for my father. I would highly recommend a review of Boulder Creek if you are looking at Assisted Living.
