The Center has hosted Broadway shows and renowned artists such as Houdini, Elvis Presley, Debbie Reynolds, Fleetwood Mac and B.B. King throughout its history. Notably, the world premiere of “Knute Rockne: All American,” starring Ronald Reagan, occurred at the Morris Performing Arts Center. - Potawatomi Zoo: In 1902, what began as a duck pond in Leeper Park transformed into a zoo in 1921, making it the oldest zoo in Indiana. Situated in South Bend, the 23-acre Potawatomi Zoo is located in Potawatomi Park, nestled between the St. Joseph River and the Grand Trunk railroad in the east side neighborhood of River Park. It’s a great place to enjoy a day with the family or visit any of the 500 animals as you stroll through the zoo. - Strikes & Spares Entertainment Center: There’s plenty to do outside in the warmer months, but when it gets cold, we do some activities inside. One place we enjoy is Strikes & Spares Entertainment Center. Our residents enjoy a little friendly competition with a game or two of bowling. There’s plenty to do at this venue for family and friends, including an indoor electric go-kart track, glow-in-the-dark mini-golf, laser maze, ninja course, arcade and bumper cars. There’s something for everyone, regardless of age and interests.
