We took our community shuttle to grab a sweet treat at Glaze Ice Cream Parlor with our memory care neighborhood residents. There were so many flavors to choose from!At Glaze Ice Cream Parlor, you’ll find more than just ice cream — also paint-your-own-pottery, glass fusing, raw clay and wine glass painting!
Milwaukee Art Museum
Art may be in the eye of the beholder, but there’s something for everyone to appreciate at the Milwaukee Art Museum! A group of residents had an outing to visit the museum and see the art for themselves.“The outing to the Milwaukee Art Museum was a complete success,” one team member at StoryPoint Mequon shared. “We loved seeing the new exhibits and viewing all the unique artwork.”
Shalom Wildlife Zoo
StoryPoint Mequon residents went on an adventure to Shalom Wildlife Zoo. There are four miles of gravel roads that run through the zoo which allows for walking, drive-thru in your own car and golf cart rentals at different times of the year.We all had a blast riding on the golf carts while learning about the property and wildlife. Residents even had a chance to feed all the different types of animals while enjoying everything nature has to offer.
StoryPoint Mequon Summer Carnival
Sometimes the most fun days are the ones you spend in the comfort of your own home — especially when your home includes a dunk tank, pig roast, magician and more!That’s exactly what our summer carnival had in store for StoryPoint Mequon residents.
