Jean first fell in love with Elvis at just 16 years old. Growing up, she listened to his records with her family, singing and dancing along whenever his music filled the room. Even without much growing up, Elvis brought something special into her home: happiness.“Elvis was very popular, and even though we didn’t have a lot of money, I had his records,” Jean shared. “Listening to his music made me feel silly and happy. ‘Hound Dog’ was my favorite — I loved to dance to it.
