Historic Oasis Diner
The Oasis Diner, manufactured by Mountain View Diners in Signac, NJ, was shipped via railroad to the east side of Plainfield, Indiana, in 1954. It’s one of less than five historical diners to remain on U.S. 40 from Cumberland, Maryland, to Vandalia, Illinois. Our residents love the nostalgic decor of the diner and enjoy getting together to eat some classic favorites.

Just a short drive away is Beasley’s Orchard. Since 1945, Beasley’s Orchard has been a popular agritourism destination and home to a fresh market offering of homegrown and locally sourced produce, baked goods, homemade apple cider and other market goodies. Visitors can pick strawberries, raspberries, sunflowers, apples and pumpkins. Our residents enjoy visiting the orchard for fresh cider and produce.
