Ludington State Park is 5,300 acres and features scenic sand dunes, three campgrounds, the iconic Big Sable Point Lighthouse, 21 miles of trails and more.The park offers everything from hiking, fishing, biking, tubing, camping and more. Not only is the state park beautiful, but it also has some of the best wheelchair and ADA accessible trails in the state.Our Ludington Woods residents recently headed to Ludington State Park to reminisce on trips past and enjoy the sunshine together.
Ludington Senior Center
The Ludington Senior Center aims to provide a place for individuals to come together for services and activities that they enjoy. With activities like crafts, billiards, bridge, painting classes and more, there’s always something new for seniors to experience.
Amber Elk Ranch
Our residents had a wonderful experience at Amber Elk Ranch. We took a wagon tour of the 130-acre grounds through pastures, pine groves and more. We saw cows, elk and yearling elk — and they were all so cute that we wanted to take every one of them home with us!

Historic White Pines Village
Offering a living history, family-friendly fun, and more, the Historic White Pines Village holds history of a late 19th century pioneer village. The Village has 30 historic buildings, plus authentic artifacts and archives of the rich lumbering and agricultural history of our area.
Jamesport Brewing Company
Some of us at Ludington Woods took a trip to one of our favorite spots in Ludington for some delicious brews and great company. Jamesport Brewing Company is a three-barrel brew house with indoor seating, a full bar and food menu. Plus, the brewery also has elevated outdoor seating, both covered and uncovered, and lawn games to play while you dine.
