All of their senior living communities will compete head to head in a friendly, March Madness bracket inspired competition to find the “greatest cookie in the cosmos.” Through decades of serving seniors, StoryPoint and Independence Village have found that food facilitates connections between people. With this in mind, their company began discussing the idea of having a “signature” dessert for their Friendly Fork Food Truck. The company knew that they wanted the dessert to be a cookie because it’s a crowd pleaser that everyone can relate to. They decided to utilize the best cookie makers around: their residents.StoryPoint and Independence Village residents will be creating their favorite recipes with each community’s Executive Chef for the ultimate bake-off. The company wants to extend involvement to their partners, community leaders and all cookie lovers in the journey to find the greatest cookie. Five rounds of events will take place, with each round producing thousands of cookies.
