- Lakeview Area Museum: For nearly 30 years, the Lakeview Area Museum has educated the public about the village’s history, including its businesses, farms, and schools. While visiting, you’ll see a cannon and an 1895 village jail cell, among other historical items.

Here are just a few examples of some of these activities, which many of our residents were recently involved with.
- A Generation of Innovation: Earlier this fall, a resident’s son showcased two of his tractors to several residents. Afterwards, residents listened to a presentation about the Old Iron Antique Tractor Club.
- Fluffy and Furry Friends: Recently, residents treasured their time with some cats and dogs during our monthly pet therapy session.
- Glamour at Lakeview: In August, our residents had a chance to dress up like glamorous movie stars and have photos taken of them. Everyone had a blast!
- Pistachio Pudding Pie — A Perfect Dessert: This summer, our Head Chef, Charlene, created a pistachio pudding pie. Residents absolutely loved it!
- Relishing Our Gardens: Throughout the summer, some residents could often be found in our courtyard’s garden, while watering and pulling veggies and fruits. The garden looked superb!
- Tie-Dye Time: As a flashback to the 1970s, our residents created tie-dye socks back in July. They also treasured their time together while playing Pictionary.
