I am very impressed with StoryPoint in Waterville. My Mother in Law has been staying there since July in their memory care facility. She has advanced Alzheimer’s and they are equipped to understand her daily life situations. We were impressed with the facility from the very first day we had our tour. They have continued to amaze us with the professional level of care for each and everyone of their residents. The residents are happy and comfortable. The staff is amazing and so helpful. Their activities are so helpful. She loves their meals. She has even gained weight while she was there. My MIL is supposed to be there for another month when we might be bringing her back home. I feel that she is getting better care at their facility than we can offer her. I would be more than willing to make this a permanent stay for her benefit.

What stood out to us most and one of the top reasons we chose Storypoint Waterville for Mom is that it is a community comprised of individuals who truly care about the folks who make this place their home. We have not encountered a single employee who works there who doesn't smile, say "hello", or know and address each resident by name. The building and grounds are immaculate.

A wonderful facility. We toured several assistance facilities and the Waterville StoryPoint was definitely the best fit for our Mom. The care that is given to their residents is amazing. Every little aspect of living in a new home is given the utmost attention for each resident’s individual needs. Knowing my father-in-law was new, they worked with us to find a welcoming table where he could eat and socialize every evening. It made a huge difference in how my father-in-law felt about moving. Top-Notch Maintenance: Whenever an issue arises, the maintenance team addresses it almost immediately. The building is always in good repair and our experience has been that any issue in individual apartments is taken seriously and fixed. Engaging Daily Life: There is a wide variety of programs and services offered on a daily basis to keep residents active and involved. Interesting lectures, visiting animals, trips for shopping or to visit different local sites make it clear they try to have something for everyone. Genuinely Caring Staff: From the executive director to the Bistro staff, the entire team is incredibly available and actively interacting with residents every single day. They greet you with a smile, take time to get to know you, and are always ready to help. It feels very reassuring to know they are helping us look after our loved one. I really cannot say enough good things about StoryPoint. We came to them at a very difficult time in my father-in-law's life and they were nothing but compassionate and kind to our family. They made what could be a very difficult transition much easier and really went out of their way to help. I highly recommend them!
