I am very impressed with StoryPoint in Waterville. My Mother in Law has been staying there since July in their memory care facility. She has advanced Alzheimer’s and they are equipped to understand her daily life situations. We were impressed with the facility from the very first day we had our tour. They have continued to amaze us with the professional level of care for each and everyone of their residents. The residents are happy and comfortable. The staff is amazing and so helpful. Their activities are so helpful. She loves their meals. She has even gained weight while she was there. My MIL is supposed to be there for another month when we might be bringing her back home. I feel that she is getting better care at their facility than we can offer her. I would be more than willing to make this a permanent stay for her benefit.

What stood out to us most and one of the top reasons we chose Storypoint Waterville for Mom is that it is a community comprised of individuals who truly care about the folks who make this place their home. We have not encountered a single employee who works there who doesn't smile, say "hello", or know and address each resident by name. The building and grounds are immaculate.

A wonderful facility. We toured several assistance facilities and the Waterville StoryPoint was definitely the best fit for our Mom. The care that is given to their residents is amazing. Every little aspect of living in a new home is given the utmost attention for each resident’s individual needs. Moving a parent is a daunting process but StoryPoint’s staff gets 5 Stars for their awesome work and helping us make a tough decision a bit easier.

Having had previous experience with other senior living communities for my own father, I can confidently say that I feel like even though my father-in-law is in an independent living apartment, he is looked after in a way I have not seen demonstrated in any other community in our area. Here is what our family has found most valuable: In-House Partners: Beyond the daily living experience, we find the fact that we can get other services from their in-house partners very valuable. We have at times utilized both their physical therapy and home health partners, and it is just so much easier on the family to have these services available right at StoryPoint. The à la carte model for services both allows us to get focused care and save money. Restaurant Style dining: While the food really is good, I think it is the staff who make the dining room shine. Knowing my father-in-law was new, they worked with us to find a welcoming table where he could eat and socialize every evening. It made a huge difference in how my father-in-law felt about moving. Top-Notch Maintenance: Whenever an issue arises, the maintenance team addresses it almost immediately. The building is always in good repair and our experience has been that any issue in individual apartments is taken seriously and fixed. Engaging Daily Life: There is a wide variety of programs and services offered on a daily basis to keep residents active and involved. Interesting lectures, visiting animals, trips for shopping or to visit different local sites make it clear they try to have something for everyone. Genuinely Caring Staff: From the executive director to the Bistro staff, the entire team is incredibly available and actively interacting with residents every single day. They greet you with a smile, take time to get to know you, and are always ready to help. It feels very reassuring to know they are helping us look after our loved one. I really cannot say enough good things about StoryPoint. We came to them at a very difficult time in my father-in-law's life and they were nothing but compassionate and kind to our family. They made what could be a very difficult transition much easier and really went out of their way to help. I highly recommend them!

They supported us through a difficult transition with unmatched kindness and compassion for our family. The staff is genuinely caring, visible, and interactive every single day. The restaurant-style dining is excellent, and the team went out of their way to find a welcoming table to help my father-in-law socialize. Daily life is engaging, offering everything from visiting animals to shopping trips. Additionally, the top-notch maintenance team addresses any issue almost immediately. We also love the convenience and cost savings of their in house partners. Being able to choose services à la carte with their in-house physical therapy and home health partners makes life easier. Even in independent living, my father-in-law is looked after in a way I haven’t seen anywhere else. I cannot say enough good things and highly recommend them!

Very nice facility

It is well worth visiting Story Point in Waterville. The care shown by the people who work there was obvious. The setting is open, and airy with lots of sun shining in. The people who live there were quick to tell us they enjoyed living at Story Point.

StoryPoint is a welcoming place. Residents are friendly. This feels like home. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a safe, caring place to stay.

The place is awesome staff wise and such a nice looking and clean facility. The food is good but not geared to the generation present. Too spicy and need to have bland choice. I feel the cost is on the high side. Overall I highly recommend it.

Facility is very clean. All personnel are friendly. Caregivers (more so on the enhanced living side) are always friendly and take the time to visit with residents. Many interesting events, like art, history, games, Social hour Wednesday are fun and encourage interaction between residents.

The facility is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff was helpful and we did feel pressured for a decision.
